A little bit of Jeremih goes a very long way. It doesn’t matter if he’s the only singer on the track (see Wale’s “The Way”) or if he lends some melodic riffing to its chorus, like on Meek Mill’s “Amen,” chances are his Midas touch will keep it in every DJs rotation. “Bo Peep (Do U Right)” Jeremih’s first official collaboration with LA-based producer Shlohmo has been making noise as one of the latest installments in the Yours Truly & adidas originals Songs From Scratch series. Like Jeremih does so effortlessly singing and rapping sexual innuendos that sound like he was passed the torch from R. Kelly, Jeremih has been delivering his flare for wordplay from his classics like “Waiter,” “Keep It Moving,” now “Bo Peep.” With spring kicking off this week, it’s actually Jeremih season, again. On April 5th and 6th, Shlohmo and Jeremih will perform live in San Francisco. “Bo Peep,” along with “Body Operator” is already building momentum for Jeremih’s next album, Thumpy Johnson due later this year. Time to relive August of 2012 by revisiting his Late Nights mixtape for a
crash smash course.
