I’d be beating a dead horse if I were to say nightlife in New York was boring. These days, I treasure any sight of a party, regardless of a minimal turnout, or how redundant the music is. Back in 2005/2006 though, one of the most clear sights of a real dance party was at Love. It’d take some major wishful thinking to imagine more raves being thrown at Love. Without the plush lining of their signature room with a hamster maze, all this underground club (on MacDougal and 8th St., NYC) really has to fall back on is their intense sound system (one of the best in the city), and a massive dance floor.
