Richard “TREATS” Dryden was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. The Treats moniker came from the reputation he built as a DJ and writer. Credits include spinning for KiD CuDi, J. Cole, Mr. MFN eXquire, Mickey Factz, Theophilus London and many other superstars in the making, getting their start in NYC’s independent music scene.
