This October, and so far November have been a great time to visit England. Surprisingly, the country hasn’t been plagued by grey clouds—typical of weather patterns this time of year. Even if that was the case, November 5th changes the tide when the sky gets lit up with colorful fireworks in observance of the Gunpowder Plot of 1605.
The western world learned of the bold attempt to blow up British Parliament in the Wachowski brothers’ film adaptation of Alan Moore’s V For Vendetta. Lucky for me, I will be deejaying for Theophilus London on a night which seems to be on par with 4th of July spectacles around the U.S. So that said, “Remember, remember, the fifth of November.”
